Oral tradition within peoples is a notion that has always scared me as much as fascinated. With age, I end up believing that I have placed far too much emphasis on beliefs and not enough on superstitions. Of course, nothing happens by chance: the culture in which I grew up brought my beliefs, and my experience is responsible for my fear of superstitions.

La tradition orale au sein des peuples est une notion qui m’a toujours effrayée autant que fascinée. Avec l’âge, je finis par croire que j’ai accordé bien trop d’importance aux croyances et pas assez aux superstitions. Bien entendu, rien n’arrive par hasard : la culture dans laquelle j’ai grandi m’a apporté mes croyances, et mon vécu est responsable de ma crainte des superstitions.
